ISO 14001: 2015 the latest International Standard for environmental management and is currently the highest level for government projects. This system to be certified has a two stage process. The first stage is to have the system implemented, documented and operating within your organization. The second stage if seeking certification involves having it audited by a Certifying Body to ensure it meets the necessary requirements.
