Why become certified with ISO 14001?

A certified ISO 14001 system ensures your company is reaching the highest of environmental standards and criteria's required by the Commonwealth Government in order to perform government tenders.

How do I become certified with ISO 14001?

This is a 3 stage process. First you need to purchase a system that meets the requirements of ISO 14001 and then have it implemented within your company for a period of time showing its working effectiveness. This period also allows you the opportunity to secondly engage in training your employee’s to fulfil their roles and responsibilities within the ISO 14001 frame work. There are a number of accredited authorities that can offer one and two day courses to assist with implementing ISO 14001 within your company. Thirdly once implemented within the ISO 14001 guidelines you are then able to apply for certification by an accredited authority.

Please note:
ISO 14001/2008 Environmental system is currently under taking a revision to ISO 14001/2015 which is required to reach full implementation by 2018. Any ISO 14001/2008 system currently purchased will receive free of charge ISO 14001/2015 when this system is available in early-mid 2016.
