What Is An ISO 14001 Environmental System?

A comprehensive Environmental Management System that meets the requirements of the International Standard for ISO 14001; 2015. Suitable for Certification by certifying auditors. Meets EMS requirements of National and International prequalification schemes required for tendering and contracts.

Do I need to be certified?

Most tenders allow for an organization to provide evidence of ISO 14001 without certification.

A certified ISO 14001 system ensures your company is reaching the highest of environmental standards and criteria's required by the for the ISO in order to perform national, state and local government tenders.

How do I become certified with ISO 14001?

This is a 3 stage process. First, you need to purchase a system that meets the requirements of ISO 14001 and then have it implemented within your company for a period of time showing its working effectiveness. This period also allows you the opportunity to secondly engage in training your employee’s to fulfil their roles and responsibilities within the ISO 14001 frame work. There are a number of accredited authorities that can offer one and two-day courses to assist with implementing ISO 14001 within your company. Thirdly once implemented within the ISO 14001 guidelines you are then able to apply for certification by an accredited authority.
